Audio
Sharp Stock provides lightweight and professional management solutions for game sound effects, background music (BGM), and voice-over resources. You can screen and audition resources directly within the asset library without switching to an external player.
1. Supported Audio Standards
The system fully supports the following mainstream game development audio formats:
- WAV: Commonly used for high-fidelity sound effects, UI feedback, and action special effects.
- MP3: Standard lossy compression format, widely used for background music and long voice-overs.
- OGG: Efficient open-source audio format, frequently used in mobile games.
- AAC / M4A: Modern compression formats that balance sound quality and file size.
- FLAC: Lossless compression format, suitable for master-level materials requiring extremely high audio fidelity.
2. Interactive Audition Features
Real-time Playback Panel
After selecting an audio file, the right detail panel will automatically activate a dedicated playback component:
- Visual Progress Bar: Supports drag-and-drop jumping and real-time playback progress feedback.
- Smart Duration Parsing: Automatically extracts total duration information (in minute:second format).
- One-click Audition: Click the play button to start auditioning immediately.
Quick Grid Preview
In the main view grid, audio asset cards feature a shortcut play button in the center. Click it to quickly preview audio content without entering details, significantly improving resource screening efficiency.
3. Intelligent Metadata Management
AI-Assisted Labeling
For audio assets, the system's AI engine provides exclusive analysis dimensions:
- Automatic Sound Descriptions: AI can automatically generate intuitive descriptions such as "dull footsteps" or "rapid metallic impact."
- Smart Category Tags: The system will attempt to automatically label category tags like
[UI],[Ambient], or[Combat].
Property View
The basic info block will simultaneously display the audio's file size, sampling status (if applicable), and modification date.
4. Organization & Management Suggestions
- Functional Classification: We recommend separating background music (BGM) from sound effects (SE) through folders or a tagging system.
- Global Penetration Audition: Combined with the "Show Subfolder Assets" toggle in the status bar, you can list all project audio assets at the root directory for rapid, sequential comparison.
