Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 19, 2026

Welcome to Sharp Stock (hereinafter referred to as "the software" or "the application"). This software is developed and provided by Sharp Knife Games (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our"). We take your privacy and data security very seriously. This Privacy Policy is intended to explain how the software handles your data and what rights you have over your own data.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By downloading, installing, or using the software, you signify your agreement to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Localized Data Processing

In the core "Asset Management" functionality of the software, we follow the principle of Local First:

  • Local Storage: All digital assets managed by the software (including but not limited to images, 3D models, Spine animations, audio, fonts, documents, etc.), as well as index data and caches generated by the software, are stored entirely on your local computer's disk.
  • No Proactive Uploading: We will never upload your original asset files, project directory structures, or self-created data (such as tags, custom descriptions, etc.) to any of our telemetry servers or any third-party cloud storage media without your knowledge or explicit authorization.

2. Calling Third-Party Services and Data Transmission

To enhance your work efficiency, the software includes several extension features. These features may involve transmitting limited data to third-party services as follows:

  • AI Smart Tagging & Description Generation: When using AI assistance features, you need to manually configure and enter your own API Key (e.g., OpenAI, Azure, etc.). When this feature is called, the current relevant image file or audio fingerprint data will be securely transmitted directly to the third-party API provider you have configured. We do not record, intercept, or store your API Key or the content of the transmitted files. The privacy compliance of such data depends on the privacy policy of the third-party vendor you choose.
  • TinyPNG Image Compression: Similarly, when you use the image compression feature, you need to enter your own TinyPNG API key. When a compression task is executed, the specified image file will be briefly uploaded encrypted to the TinyPNG official servers and returned to your local machine immediately after the task is completed.
  • SVN (Version Control) Interaction: The software includes built-in support for SVN operations. This essentially wraps and executes standard SVN commands locally; it only establishes a communication link between your local device and the SVN remote server you have set. We do not intervene in or even record your SVN server address or account credentials.
  • Web Redirect Function: When you use jump links in web format (starting with https://sharp-stock.games/redirect.html), the relative asset path and library ID carried in the link will be sent to our official servers to achieve the guided launch from the browser to the local application. We declare that such data is used only for temporary technical transit and will not be persistently stored or actively collected on the server side.

3. Crash Collection and Operational Status (Optional)

To continuously improve software stability and user experience, the software may integrate an anonymous error tracking and feedback mechanism (such as Sentry).

  • Collected Content: When the software crashes unexpectedly or unhandled errors occur, the software automatically collects non-personally identifiable information related to the device, such as: operating system version, crash time, software error stack, and simple execution logs. This data does not contain any personal privacy or specific asset content that could directly identify your true identity.
  • Data Purpose: This limited information will be used solely to identify and fix software errors to improve product quality. If you do not wish to share this basic feedback information, you can choose to disable it in the application settings panel (if this option is provided in the future).

4. Data Security

The application and its generated configuration files follow the security and read/write policies of your operating system. Please ensure the security of your own computer environment and local network to prevent data leakage or accidental destruction of local assets. We are not legally liable for asset loss caused by unauthorized intrusion into your system, hardware damage, or other force majeure.

5. Children's Privacy Protection

The software is designed for professional creators or software development groups and is not suitable for children under the legal age. The software itself does not intentionally collect any privacy data about minors.

6. Policy Updates

We may modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time as product features expand or laws and regulations change. If there are any core changes to the privacy terms, we will update them on the application's official website, app store pages, or within the software's internal announcement page, and indicate the effective date of the latest version. Continued use of the software signifies your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
